Mooncakes
Dear Tom,
The Mid-Autumn Festival is coming. I’m more than eagerto invite you to celebrate it with my family on September 24th.
The Mid-Autumn Festival, which falls on August 15 onlunar calendar, is a traditional Chinese festival. As for the arrangements, wehave full preparations. First of all, we can have a reunion dinner with ourfamily and eat some moonquakes which are in the shape of a big, round andbright moon. What’s more, we can admire the moon hanging in the sky. These who cannotget back to their hometown will also look at the moon and think of their family. If you come, we will also tell you something about Chinese culture such as thestory of Chang’e and so on. Not only will you have a great time, but you willalso know more about Chinese culture.
Words would fail to express my excitement if you come.
Yours,
Li Hua
